Mobile Performance Tuning

On-site diagnostics, logging, and flash-based remapping brought directly to your driveway, garage, or track.

Introduction to Mobile Performance Tuning

DBOYSCUSTOMS LLC offers professional transmission and engine tuning services that optimize power delivery, shift quality, and drivability for both street and race applications. We tune engines for fuel and ignition performance and calibrate transmissions to handle increased torque, adjust shift behavior, and maintain durability under stress.

Our services include torque management adjustments, shift schedule optimization, line pressure tuning, and engine rev-limits and protections

Why Transmission & Engine Tuning Matter

Not everyone can visit a tuning shop or transport a project vehicle to a dyno. Mobile performance tuning brings skilled technicians and calibration tools directly to you.

This service is particularly useful for:

Our Process

How Mobile Tuning Works

Our approach combines careful analysis, logging, and iterative testing:

1

Pre-Visit Consultation

We collect vehicle info, modification list, and your goals to prepare tools and baseline maps.

2

On-Site Inspection

Confirm mechanical readiness and sensor health. If major issues are discovered, full in-shop services may be recommended.

3

Baseline Data Capture

Drive logging or dyno-equivalent runs (when track/testing environment allows) to gather initial data.

4

Calibration

Apply flash-based remaps or adjustments, then validate with repeat logs. For vehicles requiring dyno validation, we make recommendations for follow-up in-shop sessions.

5

Validation & Delivery

Demonstrate improvements during a test drive and provide tuning documentation and recommended fueling.

6

Follow-UP Support

We offer logging support via email or return visits for further refinement.

Transmission & Torque Management

Modern Dodge transmissions rely on torque management to protect drivetrains. When increasing torque with a tune, calibration changes to the transmission ECU are necessary for safe operations. We tune shifts, torque converters, and pressure strategies to reduce slippage and harshness while optimizing performance.

Limitations & When In-Shop Tuning Is Recommended

Mobile tuning is powerful but has limitations. Forced induction builds with high-power goals often benefit from controlled dyno conditions for safe, accurate calibration under extreme loads. Complex standalone ECU integrations or severe engine swaps may require in-shop attention. We clearly communicate when an in-shop dyno session is necessary to safely validate a map.

Safety & Security in the Field

Our technicians follow strict safety protocols when working on site. We carry power management tools, protective equipment, and secure laptop-based tuning platforms to prevent data corruption and ensure safe flashing. We also perform a final QA drive and logging to confirm the integrity of the calibration.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can you perform a full dyno-quality tune on-site?

On-site tuning is capable for many flash-based calibrations, but full dyno tuning for high-power forced induction builds or exhaustive validation is best performed in-shop with dyno access. We will advise when dyno validation is necessary.

  • How do you handle data security and my ECU files?

We maintain strict data handling protocols. All ECU files and logs are stored securely and provided to the customer upon request.

  • Do you require a power source on-site?

We bring power conditioning equipment but may request access to 110V power for extended sessions. We'll confirm requirements during scheduling.
